PADI Divemaster Internship / Intensive

Service Description

Share your passion for scuba diving by becoming a PADI Divemaster (DM). As a divemaster, you'll supervise scuba diving activities and assist with scuba classes. PADI Divemaster is the first step in your diving career. We offer this as an intensive 9 day course (3 x 3 days) or an internship over 3-4 months working on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please note you must either live on Arran or be able to reliably commute to the island for the internship. Often 1:1 we can tailor your experience to fit your commitments and future aspirations; so whether that's an intensive 6 day course or spread over a few months we can help you achieve your goal. The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with your PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere. As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. PADI Divemaster's are respected dive professionals who are aligned with the largest and most respected dive organisation in the world – PADI. Divemaster's are now also able to Instruct a range of PADI specialties that we are able to teach you such as Coral Reef Conservation and Project AWARE Specialist. For those who successfully complete the DM course with us we welcome you to play an active role on other courses and gain experience alongside our Instructor by assisting on live courses as a Certified Assistant. Equipment - you will be expected to provide all your own equipment, including cylinders. We can help you in purchasing any equipment. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by us: We’ll always look to reschedule in the first instance, credit for another date or offer a refund (minus transaction and course material fees). Dive Arran Ltd will not be liable for any other associated costs you may have incurred such as but not limited to accommodation or travel. Cancellations by you: You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance. We’ll reschedule your activity but if we can’t then we’re always happy to refund you (minus transaction and course material fees). Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given by you then we reserve the right to retain your complete activity payment. Additional Fee's: If you are unable to complete your course in the designated time we reserve the right to add additional teaching and equipment fee's. Lost/damaged equipment will be charged.
