Mission
We had a simple thought: 'what if we could help others experience the incredible feeling of breathing underwater?'
​
That thought turned into many a dream over the years, hampered by Covid and the odd change of plan on route ... but in 2022 we finally managed to make this dream a reality!
​
Set on the beautiful Isle of Arran, Scotland (UK) we run a small PADI Dive Resort delivering core courses up to Divemaster plus an eye watering 16 speciality courses. Unlike many other UK operators, we run all our training in the sea - the place where you'll actually spend most of your dives once you certify. This means you'll gain critical experience and skills which many other new divers could only wish for.

We operate during May - October / Thursday - Saturday most weeks. Being part of a small island community please be aware that all of our crew have other jobs and commitments - we always aim to help but may be restricted at times.

With virtually every geo-graphical feature in one place the Isle of Arran is a magical place both above and below the waterline. If landscapes aren't your bag we're one of the few last places with Red Squirrels, Golden + White Tailed Eagles, Wild Stags and Otters to name but a few.

Known as 'Scotland in Miniature' the Isle of Arran is a place where you can 'Explore New Depths' both above and below the waterline. Once you've visited we promise you'll be back for more!

Ok so we can't help with the ironing but we can certainly help you out with most things dive related. We officially became a PADI Dive Resort in September 2022. Want to check for yourself? Go to PADI.com and take a look.

You can find our hot desk, course information board and dive/snorkel gear for sale in Scotland's largest independent family-run outdoor store Arran Active in the heart of Brodick. A 3-minute walk from the ferry - you can't miss us.
We're in store Sunday > Wednesday 09:00 - 17:00 for expert advice and support. Outside of these hours check out the info board or get in touch with us directly.

Minimum Age
For all scuba diving courses/sessions that include Open Water (in the sea) we require all students to be at least 15 years old. Safety is our #1 priority and due to local environmental conditions and equipment limitations we cannot currently accommodate anyone under this age.

Most PADI courses can be started at the age of 12 and in a swimming pool even younger. Please speak to us if you have someone under the age of 15 that wants to dive as we may have an alternative offer or be able to direct you to another PADI Centre/Resort that can help.

Fitness
Please read the medical and prerequisite information on each course page for full details. A basic level of fitness and comfort in the water is essential for safe scuba diving.
