Service Description

Emergency First Response primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive. The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course combines flexible online self-study and in-person training. It's your course at your pace. Practice a skill until you feel confident before moving on to the next one. Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting. We also look at Defibs (AED's) and ensure you leave this course comfortable and prepared to administer basic life saving first aid. We focus in on general first aid and not just dive related; making this course perfect for an 'Appointed Person' to comply with HSE workplace requirements where your risk assessment means you do not require a EFAW or FAW 1st Aider. 1 Day | 6 hour Course All equipment, materials and consumables are included. No hidden costs *Please note this is not the 3 day HSE First Aid at Work Course - If you need a 1st aid course for work please choose the EFAW or FAW course instead* *This course is a pre-requisite for PADI Rescue Diver and above*

Cancellations by us: We’ll always look to reschedule in the first instance, credit for another date or offer a refund (minus transaction and course material fees). Dive Arran Ltd will not be liable for any other associated costs you may have incurred such as but not limited to accommodation or travel. Cancellations by you: You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance. We’ll reschedule your activity but if we can’t then we’re always happy to refund you (minus transaction and course material fees). Where less than 24 hours’ notice is given by you then we reserve the right to retain your complete activity payment. Additional Fee's: If you are unable to complete your course in the designated time we reserve the right to add additional teaching and equipment fee's. Lost/damaged equipment will be charged.
