That's a wrap from us here at Dive Arran for the 2022 season - we've had a crazy first year as your island-based scuba provider and we've loved every moment of it!
We'll be back teaching again in time for the March 2023 holidays and then open again through to November 23.
Why are we closing for a few months?
Frankly this year has widely exceeded our expectations - our mission was simple; share our passion and help new divers discover the underwater world for the first time. If we could have done that for one person then we were happy ... instead with did it for absolutely loads of you! So we need a break for ourselves and to carry out some work on the kit as well as reflecting on all the lessons learnt to come back with an even better offer for 2023.
For those of you who have dived with us you'll know that we provide this offer alongside other roles, so it has certainly left us with no time to stop...something we greatly need going into the winter months.
Are we taking new bookings?
Absolutely - we're always ready to pencil in bookings for next season. You can do this by dropping us an email, a WhatsApp or online chat. We'll be opening our diary from March 2023 until the end of November 2023.
Can you offer advice and equipment sales during this time?
Yes - we work with Arran Active and COAST to provide all our services; we're still here over winter so just get in touch.
Looking back over 2022
It's been an absolute privilege to deliver a great range of courses this year including Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Scuba Diver, Drysuit Diver, ReActivate, Discover Snorkelling and Divemaster to name but a few! We've also had a great time offering guided dives of our local sites and helping both local and visiting customers alike.
If that wasn't enough, we also reached PADI Dive Resort status - a real achievement given our small part-time operation; made possible by our partnership working with Arran Active and COAST.
Looking forward to 2023
We'll be taking Discover Scuba Diving bookings online using our online calendar as well as running turn up and dive sessions during the key holidays.
We continue to invest in equipment, training and our digital offer to ensure you have the best experience possible. As a PADI Dive resort we're committed to improving our offer regardless of your experience level - for 2023 we'll continue to meet this requirement and provide you with an even greater diving experience.
